For the past quarter century, the NALEO Annual Conference has been the key
annual gathering of our nation’s Latino elected and appointed officials. From the
first of-its-kind gathering in Teaneck, New Jersey, to this year’s Conference in Washington, DC, the NALEO Conference has become the Latino Political Convention, focusing on Latino political participation and on the issues important to Latino voters. This year's opening session will look back at 25 years of Latino political empowerment, milestones, our current challenges and opportunities, and what the future holds through the eyes of the past NALEO Presidents and our current leader.
