The National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund,
in collaboration with NALEO Board Member and Denver City Councilmember Paul D. Lopez and the
NALEO 27th Annual Conference Host Committee invite you to participate in the NALEO 5K Run/Walk
and Expo for Healthy Communities!

This inaugural event will build on the NALEO Educational Fund’s commitment to educate Latino
policymakers and develop their governance and policymaking skills to address the epidemic of
chronic disease and its effects on communities across the country.  
 
ABOUT THE NALEO 5K RUN/WALK AND EXPO FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES

Downtown Denver and its appeal for healthly lifestyles will serve as the beautiful backdrop for the
NALEO 5K Run/Walk and Expo for Healthy Communities.  The event will be lead by the Honorable
Paul Lopez, and countless other area elected officials and community leaders.

We are also pleased that Denver-based Yoli Casas, a certified Race Director, will organize the
NALEO 5K Run/Walk and Expo for Healthy Communities, which will be open to the general public
and to NALEO 27th  Annual Conference registrants.  

REGISTRATION FEES:  $30 Adult and $15 Children (12 and under).  Registrations after June 25th
will be conducted on site.

NALEO 5K Run/Walk and Expo for Healthy Communities sponsorship opportunities are
available at $2,500* and exhibitor-only sponsorship space is available for $250.

*Sponsorship provides for a logo on participant t-shirt (must meet May 31st deadline), expo space
and recognition in program.
