EDUCATION EXPERTS TO GATHER
IN NATION’S CAPITAL

Conference to focus on Latino education issues

WASHINGTON, DC – The National Association of Latino Elected Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund is sponsoring the sixth-annual NALEO Education Leadership Initiative’s summit on the state of Latino education, taking place Sept. 27-29 at the Westin Grand in downtown Washington, D.C.

This is a timely and in-depth discussion on the pressing policy and governance challenges facing education leaders nationwide.

The NALEO National Summit on the State of Latino Education, Rethinking Education: Delivering For Our Students & Nation will include panels on teacher quality, early literacy, education funding strategies and the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (commonly known as the “No Child Left Behind” law), among others.
