The NALEO Educational Fund invites you to join us for a press conference on Tuesday, October 19 focusing on the anticipated impact Latinos will have on the midterm elections.
Numerous developments in Washington and in states across the country have stirred the interest of Latino voters in an unprecedented fashion. Several polls suggest that Latinos are following candidates and issues closer than in other off-year elections and are poised to affect the outcome of several statewide and local elections. In addition, several Latino candidates are waging strong campaigns for several statewide offices. With just two weeks before the midterm election, this will be a timely and in- depth discussion of key races across the country, including “swing” districts where Latino voters could make a difference and where Latino candidates could make history. The briefing will be conducted by NALEO Executive Director Arturo Vargas, a leading expert on Latino voters and voting patterns.
